ОПСТАНОК, НЕЗАКОНИТОСТ И ТУТУН ВО ЕДЕН МАЛ ГРЧКИ ГРАД

Abstract

Во руралната област на Агринио (Agrinio), во Западна Грција, пејзажи, споменици и инфраструктури откриваат длабока поврзаност меѓу земјиштето, луѓето и одгледувањето тутун. Оваа поврзаност беше нарушена во 2006 година, кога спроведувањето на националните политики и политиките на ЕУ резултира со ситуација што е опишана како „крај на тутунот“ (Kamberis 2016: 44–45). Од 2011 година, многу жители, претходно вклучени во традиционалната економска практика на одгледување тутун, повторно почнаа да го нудат својот производ за продажба. Меѓутоа, приспособувајќи се на тековните економски тешкотии, тие одгледуваат и продаваат тутун без каква било интервенција на државата, избегнувајќи ги даноците што таа ги наметнува и заобиколувајќи ги посредниците, кои имаат најголема корист кога продажбата е законска. Така, тие воспоставуваат „сива економија“. Со цел да продадат поголеми количини и да го максимизираат својот профит, тие активираат проширени општествени мрежи, обично врз основа на сродство или пријателство, кои често се распростираат низ цела Грција. Истражувањето спроведено на терен покажува дека производителите на тутун ги искористуваат празнините помеѓу законитоста и незаконитоста, кои се јавуваат како резултат на отсуството на државата како регулаторно тело во моментот на општа криза. Резултатот е живот заснован на производство на нови, локални перцепции за законитоста, моралот и вредноста.
