Abstract
Турбулентните политички случувања во Македонија во последниве години дополнително го легитимираа парадоксот за етноцентричен етнолог или антрополог, особено во периодот на десно ориентираната власт. Овој феномен има своја историја со оглед на постоењето на концептот за национални научни дисциплини, чија цел е да го негуваат, зајакнуваат и често да го (пре)создаваат националниот идентитет. Таков е вообичаено впечатокот во јавноста за задачите на овие дисциплини. Текстот ги разгледува стереотипните ставови на студентите на Институтот за етнологија и антропологија на Универзитетот „Св. Кирил и Методиј“ во Скопје, Република Северна Македонија, кои сè уште опстојуваат и покрај напорите на вработените да ги деконструираат и проблематизираат од методолошки аспект. Како илустрација за овој парадокс ќе ги користам трудовите на студентите по етнологија и антропологија што содржат етноцентрични, патриотски, па дури и националистички ставови. Иако студиската програма на Институтот не ги поддржува ваквите ставови на студентите во врска со тоа какви истражувачи треба да бидат во однос на нивниот национален идентитет, станува очигледно дека борбата со широко распространетите ставови може да биде многу тешка.
