As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Basic parameters for papеr writing (English variant): 

EthnoAnthropoZoom publishes papers in English and in Macedonian. It is important to note that authors should submit their articles in English. English proficiency must meet university level standards. 
Authors must state their name and surname, institutional affiliation and e-mail address. 
The articles are peer reviewed by two anonymous reviewers from Macedonia or abroad. If there is a need for corrections, according to the suggestions of the reviewers, the authors must send the corrected text back in 20 days after the proofread article was sent to them. It is up to the author’s discretion if s/he will follow the reviewers’ suggestions. If s/he decides not to, the editorial board will take this into consideration when making their final decision to publish the article.
Manuscripts also undergo proofreading and page proofs. For the suggestions concerning proofreading, authors should send the corrected text no longer than 20 days after receiving their proofread article.

The article must have the following structure:
Name and surname of the author, institution and address
Title of the article (centered, caps lock) 
Abstract: up to 250 words
Key words: up to 10 words
Photographs should be sent in .jpg format. For one article, up to 5 black and white photographs can be published. 
Articles may contain up to 70, 000 characters including spaces, and chronicles and reviews may have up to 20, 000 characters. The Editorial Board reserves the right to be flexible in terms of these criteria when it comes to specific circumstances.
